| She is beautiful. I 'm glad the surgery went good. Make sure to tell the breeder you got her from of her condition. It can be genetic and I'm sure they would like to know for future breeding. |

| Sunday Morning Abigaile is very sore...but she is moving alittle more everyday...If we accidently touch her incision she cries...I feel so bad for her...Yes we are giving her pain meds and antibiotics, she goes back to the Dr 8-27-07 to have her stichs removed..he thinks she might start putting some weight on that leg then...I did contact the breeder we got her from..I don't know what she will do with the information..but at least I did my part..We looked for about 3 months for a breeder we thought was responsible..I guess this sort of thing just happens..I'm not that familiar with this disease. I want to thank everyone for your support and prayers...

| Thank you for the morning update on your baby. I apologize if it sounded like I was lecturing you on her meds, but it is painful when the bone is involved. She is so tiny and reminds me of my sweet Sophie. Take care and it is wonderful to see a loving and dedicated Yorkie owner. Warmly, Deborah

| Question Oh my...We are starting to question if we've done the right thing with the surgery...Before the surgery..when she walked she walked on all fours..only when she ran did she hold up here left hind leg....you can tell she is unconfortable..she bits at her stitches when she walks...of course..we saw the xrays..showing her hip...and the deformaity..I know we really had no other choice..but I wish she was back to herself..running playing..having fun...

| Okay, Momma...relax and it has only been a few days. She is most likely in pain and remember the nerves are connected along the same path. There are other posts about this surgery, and if you read them, it takes quite a while to recover. From a human standpoint, I put weight on my operated leg, but really couldn't walk without support for weeks. Good luck and take a breath (inhale - exhale). Warmly, Deborah

| Poor sweet little Abagaile. I certainly hope she has a full and speedy recovery. It is so terribly hard to watch our babies when they are hurting or sick. When they hurt...we hurt...that is totally a normal, loving reaction. Be patient, she will soon be back to her happy go luck self. Hugs to you...kisses to Abagaile...Get well soon!!!

YT Addict | My heart breaks for little Abigail. I'm praying for you and your family. I know how hard this must be, but I just want to say that she will be better in no time, just you wait. And just think without the surgery, who knows what could have happened. You acted out of love, so there's no way your baby won't know that. She's going to try to get better, because she knows that will make you happy. I'm sending all my best wishes out to her and you. Good luck. Keep us updated.

| Oh, thank you for the update and picture of Abagaile. Hopefully, she is eating and going potty okay; it is a slow recovery and did she go for her checkup with the vet? Everything healing well? Warmly, Deborah

| Abigaile is eating good..a couple of days..we had to hand feed her...when she goes potty.."I think" it must hurt her leg..because she will bite at it..she goes back to the vet 8-27-07 unless something goes wrong....(which I don't expect)...Thank you for caring..it means so much to us
