Lilly Update. Good News!! Yeah! Hi guys. I just got off the phone with "Timmy" She's working and asked me to post an update on Lilly for her. She wanted everyone to know that Lilly is out of surgery and doing great. The vet said that he can no longer hear her murmur. What GREAT news. Let's continue to keep on praying for Lilly's speedy recovery. And, what a lucky girl she is to have Timmy as her mommy who took her and got her the care she needed to save her life. Elaine

Hi everyone!!!! I was able to sneak on here for a minute Thanks Elaine for posting this!!! I was dying to come on and post but since I've been training someone I didn't want my bad habits to rub off on them.. ya know what I mean. I'm soooooooooooo happy right now. Thanks for praying for my girl!! My fiancee was able to talk to the doctor and he told him that everything went great and he can no longer hear her murmur. He said he would call around 4....he was going to do another ultrasound on her just to make sure she has no bleeding. I think they will keep her tonight which I'm happy about...I really don't want her to come home just yet. GUYSSSSSSSSSSSss I just can't believe I'm finally going to feel her normal heart!!!!!!! This month has felt like eternity.

OMG you are all the best!!! I'm just reading all the support I'm getting from everyone and I'm crying!! Happy tears of course. Well guess what!!!!! Lilly is home!!! As soon as she seen me she got this burst of energy that I couldn't even control her. She has never done this. Oh guys...I'm so happy ....doc said he couldn't hear the murmur...I can't believe its GONE!!!! You know how much I was saying how the first thing I was going to do was put my hands on her chest...I did!!! I felt a normal hearbeat! All I did was cry and tell the doctor how great he was and thanked him so much. He even gave me this huge hug! He was just a great doctor and I couldn't be happier with my service at Penn University. On our way home I had my hands on her chest and had to move her a few times because I couldn't feel her heartbeat but I guess I was just use to her wild heartbeat before. I'm gonna take pics of her incision...its so small that its so unbelievable how they did this. I'm gonna let her get some rest though... Timmy and Mimi are downstairs crying because they want to come to my bedroom but I cann't let them in until they calm down. Lilly will have her stitches removed within 10-14 days and after that she can do anything she wants to do. She will also have to see the cardiologist in 2 months for a check up. She still has a little blood coming out of the artery but it is normal...with time it will go away. And the doc said if there is still a little blood coming out it will not hurt her. I want to thank everyone for their support!! Thanks for praying for us!! Prayer is powerful!!!! RoxyJosmom- of course you can come!!!
