| Barb, I'm glad that you took her to the vet. What did they say about hand feeding her? I have not had this happen to us. I can pray for your baby and for you. Please keep us updated. Jeanie

| Thank you Jeanie for your kind words. He said hand feeding her wasn't a really good idea since she could aspirate...Lord....I don't know what to do.... |

| What was your Vet's recommendation. Puppy maybe too young for antibiotics, but did your vet attempt to administer glucose solution intravenously? Oxygen? NutriDrops?

it sounds like she's hurting - what did the vet say about her gasping ?? I'm surprised they didn't want to keep her but then again - that requires round the clock feeding etc - I feel SO bad for you - I'd be so scared too and we can't stand to see them suffer either - I just want to wish you ALL The best and maybe the medication will kick in FAST and she'll have a better time breathing poor tiny baby | |

| puppy Keep her warm...she has to feed!..ask your vet to tube feed her and show you how, this can not wait..she will fade and be gone by tomorrow.. I wish you all the best, but I fear you need to prepare yourself for her loss, unless she is hydrated asap.. kept warm and feed every 3 to 4 hrs...and the pneumonia subsides.. |
