If your Megan has bloody poop for more than 1-2 days, you need to call/go see your vet. In the meantime, for diarrhea, it's good to give boiled boneless, skinless, chicken breast. Just boil the raw chicken in water, and mix with cooked rice-about half rice and half chicken.
Instant rice will work in a pinch, but long grain white rice is better, and brown rice is best. Chicken should be the white meat breast only. Do not salt or season in any way, and trim any fat from the chicken breast before feeding it to your dog.
Also, do not give any fruit or dairy at all until the diarrhea has been gone for at least a few days. Those things can further upset the digestive system in our little ones. |
