To me, that bloody stuff looks like tissue and blood. I'd get her in asap. |
oh Brooke I just read this! I am so sorry and I hope everything turns out to be okay. The first thing I thought when I saw the pictures is that it is not that bad, i mean it can be a bad thing but i dont think it is just because these little ones poop out weird stuff all the time and one time London pooped out something that looked just like those pics. It was like a poopy gel, excepy it was green and red, like it had a little blood in it. I took her to the vet and they said it was prob. from straining and nothing serious. It turned out to be nothing, however it never hurts to go to the vet, they should know everything there  |
BTW I took pics of the poop just in case and let me tell you they are GROSS! lol so i won't post them but i know just how you feel |
Brooke, I'm so sorry to hear that little Tatum isn't feeling well. I will keep her (and you) in my prayers and hope that it turns out to be nothing serious. Try to get some rest tonight. |
It could be the pain meds... I interned in an orthopedic clinic as a medical assistant... and many patients were on pain meds and had rectal bleeding... most of the time the pain meds are what caused the bleeding. I'm not sure, but I would take her to the vet immediately. I hope Tatum feels better |

I actually got more pics of it...and one of them I think you can see what looks to be "tissue" a little better, as it was a close-up pic. I will look and see if I can find it and if I can, I will post it. |

I am going to make sure that she sees her regular vet, as there is a new vet up there and I just don't know him all that well (she's only seen him once) - and I just feel more comfortable with her seeing her regular vet, because he knows her - and he knows me. UGH...I just want this all to be over with and I want my baby better! |

It did cross my mind about the pain meds causing her to do this...but I just didn't know because it's been almost 4 weeks? Granted I am no doctor, or vet...so I have no idea. Do you think it is a possibility?? |
