Paisley Update
 
Hi everyone, I wanted to give a little update on Paisely. I cleaned her ears a little bit ago and I'm starting to think the ear that wasn't as bad is now getting worse. :( She's been hitting it with her paw all morning. Before she was only bothering the really bad ear but now she's just going nuts with both. I called my vet and I'm waiting for her to call back. I think I may have to take her in. I'm not sure if I'm going crazy but I kinda feel like this ear is now going shut also. I had a harder time getting the q-tip in there to clean it. If this is the case, then I would assume she would need to have the same meds that she's getting for her other ear. :confused: (each ear right now is getting treated differen'tly because the infections are not the same). I just wish this was all over and she would get better. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words right now. You have no idea how much they mean to us. Being on YT is taking my mind off everything, so thank you all so much. ;)

oh Dina, am just reading this posting. I have been pretty busy with sewing and entertaining my SIL who is still here in town.

I hope that Paisley will overcome this infection :( I will pray for a speedy recovery . . .be strong for her. She will need all the TLC you can give right now.

My babies send her loving kisses and hugs as well.

HANG IN THERE! Those meds can be really annoying as they start to work their magic, which may be why she is digging at it.

Here's hoping that's all it is. BIG HUG!!!!

Poor Paisley!!:( Ear infections are not fun to deal with.

I hope both Paisley and Snoot feel better soon!!
They will both be in our thoughts and prayers!!

Thank you so much Des. She keeps sleeping alot but I guess thats the best thing for her right now. I hope these meds help and two weeks fly by.Thanks for thinking of us and for the prayers. paisley sends you kisses. ;)

Thank you again Des. We do apprecaite your kindness so much. I hate to say it but I think I'm right about her one ear getting worse now. :( I'm just praying I'm wrong.

Thank you so much. My vet just now called me back and said the same thing that you did. However, she said if tonight this other ear seems closed to me still, then I have to take her in to be checked tomorrow, so her meds can be switched. :( My poor baby, I just hope I'm wrong. Thanks for checking back up on her. ;)

Oh, I'm so sorry that little Paisley isn't better. I hope she begins to improve soon ... it's so hard when they are sick, they can't tell us where it hurts! We will be praying for her ... and Toto sends her sweet little kisses!!

oh don't you just hate being so helpless . . . I will pray you are WRONG too :( especially since your little angel is just so young and tiny.

So sorry for all the problems your little girl is having...if I was the breeder I would be having a serious talk with vet who checked her before the sale..how could they miss such a bad infection?..plus, always have a new puppy checked within a day of the purchase..I asked people to make an appointment so the puppy could be seen by their vet on the way home from my house when at all possible.

Thank you sooo much for checking on her again. ;) It's so sad to watch her. She wants to play but keeps stopping and digging at her ears. :( She eventually gives up and goes back to sleep. I'll be cleaning her ears again in another hour and hopefully the ear I was worried about isn't closing like the other. Paisley's starting to get a crush on Toto and sends kisses right back. ;)

Oh Des, I hate being wrong, LOL, but this time I DEFINATELY want to be. I\'ll be cleaning the ears here in another hour, so I\'m just crossing my fingers now.
