Well, if she had been listless to date and is now chewing on a bone, that's a pretty good sign. It will take time though. Those meds are tough and once they really start to work, don't be surprised if she seems like she has gotten worse.

If this happens, it shouldn't go beyond a day if it's normal. Ears are even more vital to dogs than to us and probably a lot more sensitive, too.

Hi, I wanted to let everyone know that I believe Paisley's ears are doing much better. Both holes are now open.....:D She's been playing so much more and stealing all the toys from her sisters. :cool: She's fighting me even more about the meds I have to put in her ears, but I take that as a good sign that she's even stronger now. :thumbup: I still have to give her the differen't medicines for another week. She will go back to the vet next Friday to be checked again. I know I'm no vet, but I almost guarantee a specialist won't be needed. :D :D :D Right now she's chewing on her brother's favorite bone, LOL, and looks like a complete mess with her little greasy hair. She seems so happy and I feel so much better now. :) Thank you all for the prayers. I truly believe they helped her and we are soooooo thankful for all of you. :)

WOOHOO! This was the post I was hoping to see.:) SO glad lil Pais-ter girl is doing well. If she's fighting and stealin' stuff, you know she is getting back to normal, right?:p

Sorry to hear Paisley has had such a rough time with her poor little ears, but it's encouraging to hear they are improving. I'll keep her in my prayers, and hope she heals quickly.

Yay Paisley! It's nice to hear something positive:) I hope she continues to improve and that she doesn't have to go anywhere but to HER vet to confirm that she is a-ok
