| What is this??? 2 weeks ago the Vet said it's just a blister But it's gotten bigger, and Missy is starting to bite on it. We're gonna bring her in tomorrow. But have you guys ever seen something like this before? Something tells me she got it from the Emergency clinic.... Maybe it was from a needle? |

| My kitty-cat got a big fat lump (looked like an enlarged blister) on her chin years ago. Turned out it was a cyst that was growing and it eventually had to be removed. They cut it out and stitched the skin back together and when the hair grew over it, you couldn't even tell. Cysts just happen sometimes. I have a ganglion cyst on the inside of one ankle. It happened because I have been an avid speed walker for years. It hasn't grown, it just sits there and doesn't bother me. But they can grow and enlarge and they can be painful. My husband had one on a tendon in his wrist. It was very painful until it was removed. It just depends on where it is located. |

| I'm sorry I have no idea. I think I'd have a different vet look at it. Sorry, I wish I knew, it looks kinda icky.

| That thing looks awful ... sorry, I have never seen anything like it. Since it has grown, I would definitely have it checked again. It doesn't look like a blister to me .... a blister would be more clear than red ... it looks inflamed. I hope it's nothing serious ... please let us know what you find out.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | That would bother me to see on my girls and I'd def get it checked out. If it IS an infection it can get in her blood - a vet can tell you way more than we can by looking at the pictures - and GOOD LUCK !! I hope it's nothing serious |

| We had a cat that had a lump like that in his armpit. It even had the same little dark dimples. The vet just said keep an eye on it. It didn't change for a few years, then in a matter of weeks it grew to the size of a golf ball. We had it removed and he came thru the surgery fine, but died 2 days later. He had diabetes which was getting pretty bad and he was 11 so I chose not to have a biopsy done to see if it was malignant. Please, have it checked ASAP. It looks identical to the one Snuffy had.

| It's a skin tumor, a harmless one. Her surgery is tomorrow to have it removed. |

| I was just going to say it looked like cancer. I'm so glad it's going to be removed. Hope all goes well. |
