Patti, I just saw this thread and feel sick for the worry you are going through. I will be praying for Pixie, Maya, your dad, and you, my dear friend. I hope and pray symptoms don't return for your precious Pixie. *HUGS*

I've also said a prayer for your daughter to have a safe flight home!

Pixie has been acting normal since Wednesday and I called the specialists office and they said they didn't need to see her if she is ok but if any return of the problem they would get her in right away. Because they would need to to extensive tests and since she is symptom free right now we decided to wait and see. Thanks so much for all the prayers and support they helped me through a very difficult day and night. My dtr is home, not her luggage though so she has no summer clothes, hair supplies and makeup, souveniers etc. Hopefully it will show up. Thanks again.

Glad Pixie is doing well. Let's hope it was just "one of those things" that is unexplained and does NOT reoccur.

Of course, I didn't take Pixie in to the specialist becasue she was doing fine and tonite 48 hours after her er visit for falling over she started throwing up. SHe has thrown up 3 times, but not a lot. She seemed restless right after she threw up but it resting a little better right now. She gets up if I do and follows me around but not with her usual perkiness. I am going to stay up and observe her and if she gets worse I will take her in to the er vet. Please continue your prayers for Pixie as she doesn't seem to be out of the woods yet. Thanks

Ohhh Patti...I first read your post that Pixie was doing well and free of symptoms, and then I saw the other post about her throwing up. Poor little sweetheart. I hope and pray this is just a bug that she will get out of her system. Sending big hugs and Maddie and Libby send kisses. I'll be praying for Pixie. I'll also pray that your daughter's luggage is found!

aw patti sorry to hear that pixie vomited again. Please take her to the specialist as soon as you can. It might be something simple like an inner ear infection that you can clear up no problem.

It sure has been a rollecoaster ride these past few days. Pixie hasn't thrown up since the middle of the night, but Maya started in at 2 am and again this morning, but hers is from her Cushing's meds. We discovered last night that the landscapers fertilized the lawn a week ago Thursday and didn't tell us and the dogs have all been on the grass and I am thinking maybe Pixie got sick from the fertilizer. I am watching her closely this morning and if she appears sick I will call the er vet. I just know that taking her in will not give me any answers without extensive testing and I want to be sure the vomiting wasn't just an unrelated occurance to her Tuesday episode of falling over. The first sign today that she is not Ok I will take her in. Thanks
