| Lily has had a good day today. She only cried out twice during the day...plus once early in the morning at 3:30 am. I sat with her for about half an hour stroking her back while she nurserd. She didn't cry the entire time, just the first few minutes, but I always stroke her back for awhile and when she nurses I like to make sure I see her belly fill up before I go on to other things...maybe being over protective but... We are going to get some milk replacer for her to drink between nursings because I am concerned that the bigger pups do push her out of the way when they nurse together. I am afraid that the single nursings I let her have with mama aren't enough. We were going to introduce soft foods to all of the pups but weren't sure if Lily was ready for that, so we decided on the milk for her.

| Hey there. Puppymillrescue.com has a little girl Pixie who is located in Texas that has this. Maybe you could get in touch with Pixie's fostermom and she can help you out with questions. The organization is very nice. They are a rescue group for puppymill dogs. www.puppymillrescue.com. Elaine |
