| Please HELP! I just discovered that Roscoe ate my BC Pills Many thanks in advance for all responses. My baby boy Roscoe, 4 1/2 months old, ate two pieces of my birth control pills. I use Yaz lower dose and he ate 2 of the pink ones that are located in the 4th week. I dont know what to do but he seems to be doing just fine. Can you guys please tell me what I should do? I called the vet and am planning to bring him in but I just want your advise!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Isn't the 4th week a "reminder" pill? I take Orthotricyclen Lo and the are just reminder pills. If that's the case I think he should be fine, beause there is nothing on them |

| I think the last week are reminder pills on most BC, but I'm not familiar with Yaz...Maybe you could call the emergency vet??

| Back when I used to take them, the last row was nothing but a placebo to keep you in the habit of taking your pill. Check the packaging for your pills, you will prob find out that they contain very little of anything.

| I was just reading on the website for Yaz...Here is the link: http://www.yaz-us.com/front?cref=8 It says that only the white ones are sugar pills/placebos...But you say he ate two pink ones! Those are active pills...There are 24 active pills, and 4 sugar/placebos. I would be calling poison control or someone....

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | OMG I thought this was going to be one of those way too sad threads - PLEASE PUT THEM WHERE HE CAN'T GET TO THEM !! They can be fatal and you don't want to take any chances he'll do it again ...they cause internal hemmoraging and other awful problems and are very very dangerous for pets !!! I'm glad he's ok but NOTHING Should be in your purse that can potentially hurt our pets - yorkies are way too nosy |
