| i wonder... miko does that right before she vomits (which she did twice this morning, poor thing). it sort of sounds like she's panting in a weird way. sometimes if we pick her up when she's in the middle of it, she doesn't end up vomiting for some reason. it could also be that she was dreaming or in deep sleep. if your little one seems ok now, i would try not to worry too much (and this coming from a chronic worry-wart) good luck! |

| I was looking on the forums for an answer to this same question! Our little Rigger was drifting off to sleep Friday and he made a high pitched gasping sound and woke himself up. We watched him closely over the weekend and he continues to do this. It is only as he is drifting off to sleep and the noise is similar to a child with asthma. He only does it a couple of times and if I pick him up to elevate his head he goes on to sleep. I have called the Vet this morning and am waiting to get an appointment. Anyone else have any experience with this type of thing? I am sick with worry! |
