| oh my gosh you finally got your baby im so happy!!! well car rides can really stress out your puppy and then he went from the breeders to your house to someone elses house now back to yours and change of enviroment can really be stressful. use some nutri cal and see how that works. karo syrup works too. but skoshi hates car rides!!!! just keep his sugar up and try not to leave him any where else till he gets used to your house |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have found that after my dogs have stayed somewhere else, they are exhausted. Even though they may have fun at another home, it's also stressful bc it's not home to them - so it can pretty taxing.

| When Ellie stays with someone she usually gets into another dog's food. This makes her bloated and she squeaks when you pick her up. She just kind of acts all around lazy. Could she have possibly gotten into something that she is not used to eating? I hope its nothing serious.

| I have a brand new puppy as well and they get stress very easily. I think you should give him some nutra-cal and put some karo syrup in his water and this should pep him up. Also keep an eye on his gums make sure they stay pink. Good luck on your baby

| I'm with Wylie's mom, when I keep my best friend's shih poo for a few days, she has called me to say he is WIPED OUT, and so are my boys, they play a little harder. I would just make sure he's eating and pooping like normal. Also, if my Otis eats ANY other food but his own, his tummy is sooo sensitive that he gurgles and may have a little diarrhea for a few days. Keep your eye on him. If you feel somethings "off", take him in. Because MOMMY"S KNOW when somethings wrong.

| stress These babies get stressed more than any other dog. Mine starts shaking just riding in a different car (with me).....chalk it up to the breed. When you get a yorkie, it's for better and never worse, take them as much as possible with you, you'll both fare better. |
