These were Marcel's exact symptoms and we're now on our 2nd round of treatment.

Btw, the very 1st stool test they did came back negative. They looked again, using the same stool, and then realized he did show a weak positive for giardia. Giardia can be very sneaky and tough to see under the scope - it is known for that.

We're keeping an eye on her! She's on an antibiotic because the vet said often the stool sample comes up negative because the parasite or worm or whatever isn't shedding eggs at the time of sample or something. So she's on an antibiotic and a wormer and something else. So hopefully all that will get rid (or at least start getting rid of whatever she has) she's on the antibiotic for like 14 days!! She's supposed to go back to the vet again in 2 weeks to get her next set of vaccinations (didn't want to give them to her yesterday since she wasn't feeling well already)- but this morning she apparently ate really well and she's been really perky- wanting to play with our other dogs etc so I'm hopeful that it was just something minor and after her meds she'll be back to feelin great! =)
