| I talk to the vet almost everyday now, hes been to the ER Hospital 6 times. I dont want to keep taking him back just for them to keep giving him different medcines. and I hate taking him in being weak and so many germs around that place, plus its a good drive and he gets car sick. so I think its best that he waits to go back , I have took him off of all his meds all but the two, They havent got the results back from the lab yet on what kind of Crystals they are. I have called them every day asking. he dont go back in until the 21st. so I guess Ill know more then. |

| You're doing the right thing Everytime he goes back to the vet, he's probably super stressed out. I hate taking Miko to the vet after stuff like that because I don't want to upset him and make it worse on him. Give Mickey hugs from me and the furbabies!!! He's a strong little boy

| Another Update I just wanted to get on and update everyone on how my Little Mickey is doing, I will get a few pictures later to share, Well on a scale 1-10 Id say he goes back and forth to a 6-7. He is eating some on his own and drinking on his own, I have been giving him a little in the syringe to make up for what he dont eat. Hes playing here and there, Sleeping alot and even seemed to have enough energy to try an dfight with the cat. lol I saw him and Minnie kissing a little yesterday and they played tugging on a rope toy for a few seconds. Mickeys incision looks like its healing good (But seems very zig zaggy). He trys to pull on the stitches from time to time, so I have to watch him all the time. Night before last and last night he slept with me and Minnie, we all slept on the couch. He had been sleeping on a blanket beside the couch on the floor, and Id reach down and rub his ears until he would fall asleep. It felt so good to have him curling up with us again. His lab test on the crystals havent came back yet, still waiting on that. Once thats in Ill know what prescription food he will be staying on, he hates all the prescription food hes had so far, so that in its self is going to be a battle.Minnie seems to be feeling better today, But we are still going to have her tested and rechecked. |

| That is such good news. I hope all the pain is behind him. Good job Mickey. Keep eating and getting stronger. It's good that he is sleeping so often, he'll build his strength back up that way. I hope is all health from this day forward. Hugs |

| A 6 or 7 out of 10 ain't bad, considering all he's been thru...Just let him sleep as much as he needs, to preserve his energy for gettin' better. As long as he keeps eating...that's the important thing. Oh and of course peeing & pooping is necessary. Sleeping, eating, peeing & pooping and a little play time thrown in is nice!!! More get well wishes for Mickey...and I'm still hoping Minnie's test are all normal...Hugs to you, and thanks for the update, we here at YT need to know how things are...

| Thank you. Today Mickey seems to be doing great, Hes bugging me all day to go out, I think we have been out 10 times already. Its beautiful out, but I dont want him over doing it. Hes even wanting to run and play. Its great to see him so active, The only problem we seem to be having is with him not wanting any of the three presciption diet foods. and I cant keep sryingeing it into him every day, well I can but man I wish he would want it and eat it on his own.hes back to wanting to eat now, Just not that food. and hes got to eat it. Of of the three is prob what hes going to be on the rest of his life. so Im not sure what Im going to do about that. |

| Great to see Mickey out exploring the yard...yea!!! But what to do about him not wanting his "special" food? Maybe you'll have to start with a mix of two kinds, one he likes and the new stuff...and slowly add more new and less old. Just a thought, I don't really know...That's how I introduced my Spencer to his "diet" food...it worked!!! Now about that cat...what the heck do you feed it? Doesn't look like it has any problems eating, exactly how much does it weigh, compared to your yorkies it's huge. And is that your yard...it looks like a park, how nice is that, I bet all your babies love it. Anyway, thanks for the pics and update...I'm still wishing, and hoping...praying and dreaming that all will be well...Hugs... OOPS...I posted this on the wrong thread...sorry!!!

Yes thats our yard, we have 5 acres, only bad thing is, none of its fenced in. so I have to watch every move when Mickey and Minnie are out. to many wild animals about. He had planned to build a home some day on this land. ( dont look like thats gonna happen, But maybe a modular). With Hubby working 12 hr days now and mowing 5 acres on his days off, its a lot of work. I put a little of all three of those presciption foods down for Mickey today and sprinkled a little shreeded cheese on each, he very carefully picked the cheese off not to touch the foods. lol hes rotton.
