LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | I am so upset, depressed and sad. I just don't know what to do... Hi all, I have just had a call from the vet and they said that Boo-Boo's going to have his liver shunt surgery on the 14 may 2007. The vet from the Bristol University Uk have said that Boo-Boo is required to stay there for about a week so they can keep an eye on him.I am so stressed and upset because he is such a mommy's boy(he is always with me, and I mean 24/7) and I just don't know what he's going to do without me. Will he think I abandoned him, will he have anyone to give him attention and kisses...What will happen? Will he have enough strengh if I will not be there to comfort him in his pain...Please pray for my little angel, he really needs your good wishes now.Probably me more than him. Maria

| I would be upset, too. When Brea has her surgery I don't know how I will do leaving her if they insist on it. I hope things go well for you and just remember it's for his own good. Dogs are more forgiving than us! Is there any way you can go and visit him during that time? |

| I totally understand, I would be having the same fears. the poor babies just don't understand that it is for their own good. I wish you the best of luck on the surgery. |

LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | Thanks guys, is just that I am so stressed and I am feeling sick to my stomach. I just want him to get better but in the same time I just wish they will let him come back home the next day or something...Urgh...I hate not beeing able to do anything. The Bristol University is about 2 hours from wher I live but I will go visit everyday even if i'll be on the road for 4 hours daily.

| Prayer's coming for both you and BooBoo that his surgery goes well and your together before you know it. That's wonderful that you can visit him. It will help both of you get through this. I am sorry it has to be for so long but if it will make him better than it will be all worth it. Hugs to BooBoo, |

| Prayers your way. Remember that most people who work at a vet or animal hospital do so because they love and care about animals. A friend who worked as a receptionist at an animal hosp. once told me that she was amazed at how much extra care the animals get above and beyond the medical. |
