| shes at work with me.. she's just been sleeping. I've been waking her up to eat and drink and take her out to potty. I'm waiting on the doctor to call.. we should get some test results back today. Her breathing has gotten better.. but it's still not normal. She has no energy at all. But her coughing has come back... which is good. And it's suppose to sound all phlemy and it does, which is good. I still have the vicks vapor thing going.. so hopefully we will have some answers on the test results back soon. Ill post as soon as i find out. Thank you so much for all of your kind words |

The only thing is, i dont see her actually coughing anything up. I hear all the stuff in her lungs, and it sounds like it wants to come out, but nothing is coming up.. is that bad sign? Should I be seeing it? | |

| Dena, I hope Zoe is feeling better soon. I hope this doesn't offend you, but Vick's has no medicinal properties. It won't loosen mucous or improve breathing. It's strictly a "comfort measure". Although when I was a kid I sure didn't find it comforting! A cool mist humidifier might help. And getting Zoe to drink lots will help loosen the mucous. She sounds very ill. I pray she improves soon.

| Well Zoie is doing much better!! And even if the Vicks doesn't help with the mucus, it did comfort her.. you could tell she was in distress.. We got her some all natural stuff, and doing treatments with that.. and has improved a ton! She's up and walking around and her tail is wagging, and she's playing with Wookie and eating like a little piggy again. She's coughing a lot more and it sounds all mucousy, except she's not actually spitting anything up. Thank you for all of your kind words and prayers.. Zoie is feeling much much better |

| Zoie is waggin her tail Well we know for sure that she has severe pnuemonia. We are waiting on the tests to find out if its fungal or viral.. to pin point the exact problem. Right now shes on two diff antibiotics... they are both general antibiotics. Once they get the results from the tests, they will be able to adjust the medicine accordingly to target the exact problem. But the test results takes 2 weeks. They are suppose to get preliminaries sometime this week. It feels like shes been sick forever... and she will be on meds for a min of 6 weeks. I feel so terrible for her. I just want to take away her pain, but we just have to wait it out and help her cough up all that stuff in her lungs. She actually coughed up some stuff for the first time today.. so that was exciting. Good thing I got a leather couch |
