Well we know for sure that she has severe pnuemonia.
We are waiting on the tests to find out if its fungal or viral.. to pin point the exact problem. Right now shes on two diff antibiotics... they are both general antibiotics. Once they get the results from the tests, they will be able to adjust the medicine accordingly to target the exact problem.
But the test results takes 2 weeks. They are suppose to get preliminaries sometime this week.
It feels like shes been sick forever... and she will be on meds for a min of 6 weeks. I feel so terrible for her. I just want to take away her pain, but we just have to wait it out and help her cough up all that stuff in her lungs. She actually coughed up some stuff for the first time today.. so that was exciting. Good thing I got a leather couch
