| Since she's having liver problems, shouldn't she be on a low protein diet? I have never dealt with liver failure, but my yorkie does have a liver shunt(and possibly MVD). Liver problems usually call for protein that is easier for their livers to process (ie. protein from vegetables, egg, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc.)and a lower percentage...Just throwing out some suggestions...Ask your vet and see what he says. We'll continue praying for your baby

| A prayer 4 U I am praying with you. I know what it is like to fear the unknown with your baby. You will get better at the shots, it will just be a matter of practice for you and procedural conditioning for your baby. Best of luck. Phoebes Mom

| When these babies have problems like this it breaks my heart! She has a very special mommy who loves her dearly, and I'm sure she knows that. If I may suggest something...........please don't feed this sick little button any dog food. Her little system is not going to tolerate all the horrible things in those foods. Read the ingredients.......most you can't even pronounce, much less know what it is. There is a lot of chemicles, coloring and preservitives that are harmful. I will say a prayer that she does win this battle. Big hugs to you both. |
