| ***Worried*** I just got home for school about an hour ago and Coco has already vomited twice. She is having problem standing and walking. She is not eating or drinking anything. Should I take her vet now or if it can wait until the morning. |

| Maybe maple syrup will boost her sugar if that is indeed the problem? you can try rubbing some on her gum? I think white gums are bad, not sure about dark?? I hope someone else replies with suggestions! I don't think I would wait till morning sweetie!

| Good Advice I believe the main concern is that she is unable to stand and acts very weak. Take care and let us know how she is doing.

| Oh my Seems to be an awful bug that is going around and then you add in the food recall and it's been crazy how many doggies have been sick More than her age, I would be concerned about her size. If she is very small (under 4 lbs, say) then she can go down much more quickly than a larger dog. Try giving her some plain boiled chicken breast and plain white rice to help settle her tummy. Some gatorade is also helpful when they have vomiting or diahrreah to help keep them hydrated, force with a syringe if you have to. Definitely get a tube of Nutri-cal or Nutri-stat to keep on hand for emergencies. Karo syrup or maple syrup works too. If you cannot get any of these, then you can make Simple Syrup--- INGREDIENTS: 2 parts sugar 1 part water PREPARATION: Bring the water to a boil. Dissolve the sugar into the boiling water. Once the sugar is dissolved completely, remove the pan from the heat. Allow to cool completely and bottle. I hope that Coco is feeling much better today

| There is WAYYYYYY to much of this going around on here. Our babies are so precious and it breaks my heart to see them going through this. Mine is going through what sounds like the same thing. I have a thread in here too. My Sophie is breaking my heart. I hope that you got CoCo to a vet last night and she is pulling through ok. Please keep us up to date on progress. We will be thinking of you & your baby

| I was told by my Vet. that in a pinch, plain sugar will work. It is better than waiting to go to the store to get Kayro.
