Hi. I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts. Newman had his surgery this morning. They found a lot of abnormal tissue in his paw pad and all of it was removed and sent out to be biopsied. I'm told that cancer in the paw is rare so I'm keeping optimistic that everything will come back alright. Newman came home today at 4pm and he seems to be doing well. His foot is bandaged and is casted in a purple cast which will be changed in a week. We should have the results back on his biopsy in about five days. He seems a little dopey but pretty alert for the most part and he held his food and water down fine. Thanks again for all your nice thoughts.

Awww, poor fella

I hope that his tests come back clean and this was maybe some weird wart thing or something, like people get plantar's warts.

I'm sure that he'll be doing great by tomorrow, thereby challenging you to keep him still

aaw, poor little guy , i hope he is better soon and the tests come back good. My Rosi is going through the same thing on Thuesday, exept hers is on her back !
