| At What Age Do You Usually Neuter My Sparky is 18 weeks, and the vet told me when he comes back in at 10 months (in September) he will neuter him. IS that a normal age for this? My past dogs (a coon hound, a lab, a sheltie, and a poodle) were all taken care of at 5-6 months. I don't want Sparky to start marking things, and I don't want him to start cocking his leg up to pee. I think males peeing with the squat is so adorable. When is the normal time everyone has this done? |

| I had Hobbs neutered at 5 months and he still squats to pee. I would talk to your vet and tell him that you insist on doing it before 10 months. Surely he'll oblige. |

| Not sure about boys, but my adoption agreement from the breeder says that I must have her spayed at 6 months old.
