| WOW! VERY CLOSE CALL! Glad your all ok. My parents live on a farm, and when we there on the weekend the kiddos love it. Zoey plays with the cows we have in the lot, I'm glad they are used to dogs and cats, and actually just chase her.... I don't allow this, but sometimes she gets there before I can run all the way around back (she gets a spankin') She takes off for around back... WHOSH! I know what you mean though one day dad had the bull in the lot and HOLY COW he hated Zoey, I was running and screaming and crying... basically freaking out! But I got her before he was around, and she got a spankin and a timeout... SCARY! |

| I guess I could mention, she does know the "come" command, but chooses to ignore it at times like that... PUPPIES! I guess kind of like kids (or my fiance ) and "selective hearing" |

But I promised him I would love and cherish him every day, and I am incredibly thankful that today wasn't the end I'm still a little freaked out, but I'm doing fine. I keep re-playing the event in my head - and I know I couldn't have gone back there b/c of the barbed wire fence, but I have to keep pushing the "what if" thoughts from my head and focus on being thankful! I recommend everyone teach their babies the "come" command....if you need pointers on how, let me know!

| My first Mastiff's sire was kicked in the head by the breeder's horse and died instantly. He was one major away from becoming a champion! It devasted the breeder and her family, as the family horse killed their family pet. I think they ended up selling the horse.) He was 220 lbs, so I can't imagine what a horse could do to a little Yorkie. Thank God your little guy is ok. Your story brought tears to my eyes.... How does an animal so small make such a big impression on your heart?? I am amazed everyday by how much I love my gang. Missy |

| I use to volunteer at a horse farm, and I can tell you get spooked so easily. Better not bring him back there again. |

| Oh my gosh!! I'm sooo glad that Sully is okay How scary...I would have freaked out completely. Sully is such a good boy for listening to his mommy through all that scariness. It saved his life!

| OMG that is so scary I'm so glad that you both are okay. There was a member here not too long ago that almost lost her little one to a horse, it was so awful what they went through ![]() Good footwork, Sully, and good training, Mom!

| How scary for both of you!!!! Sissy takes off running at the first possible opportunity and does not come when called, so I would never risk letting her roam, but a good reminder none-the-less.

| I am so glad that Sully is ok. I know that you had to have been terrified! Watching a running stomping rearing horse is very scary indeed! Give Sully extra hugs and kisses and a treat for being a good boy and coming when called. |
