| please help max is know almost 8 months old he has been to the vet a few times because there is somethnig wrong with his liver something to do with the toxins in his body and how the liver does not function right to get them out he is on lactolose to help him have softer stools 2-3 times a day he has been to a specialist for an ultrasoud to see if he had a liver SHUNT they said he did npt but i am scard that maybe then he was so tinny that they just could not see that there was one so in a few months i want to take him back for another one to see what takes place then .See what happens is he gets very dizzy ,lazy and falls over he does not want to eat ,drink or even have treats this happened yesterday and he was not back to normal for a while he went to the vet and thay took tests and stuff he has had 3 of them that were not bad at all just the dizzy thing sowhat im asking isdoes any one know any thing on this and if so is it life threating what else can i do HE is on a low protien diet the lactulose he gets lots of fresh water and rest please help thax so much ill be waiting for a reply |

| I am so sorry your both going through a rough time. I can't not help you but wanted to send a prayer for your little one to get better. I am sure there will be others who can help you with suggestions. Do you know the list of foods that are toxic to a yorke? Hopefully none of those foods were fed to him. Grapes, onions, garlic, chocolate, raisins and others. Good luck and get well little guy. Carol & Buddy |

| Go to Liver_Shunt_And_MVD_Support, I joined yesterday, it's a big help on liver disease. Hope this helps. Someone in here gave me the site.
