| I am sorry your new pup has ear mites. I was going to suggest waiting to fix the hernia until you spay her. My son was born with double Inguinal Hernias. They did surgery on him at 15 mo and he was up and running the next day. (He is almost 19 now) I realize that my son and a dog are different but the surgery is a pretty easy one. Good Luck.

| Get the ear mites cleared up and don't freak out about the hernia's..they can be repaired when she is spayed, IF they are still ther..many recede, some do not...if all else is well, I would certainly keep her if you are happy with her..and yes, it woudl be ethical for the breeder to pay the extra charge for the repair, which at the time of spaying is quite reasonable as a rule...BUT don't wait for a check.. |
