| ![]() Hi guys, Toby is really sick today. She has been throwing up and has had really bad diarrhea. Could it be something she ate, has anyone had this type of problem with their babies? Please offer any advice or suggestions, me and toby really need it. |

| ![]() You can give a 1/4 of a pepcid for the upset stomach or a little bit of pepto bismal. Feed him chicken and rice for the diahrea or give canned pumpkin. If it keeps up take him to the vet

| ![]() How many times has she vomited and had diaherria? If it's more than a few times get him to the vet. Toby is still a puppy right? They can get dehydrated very quickly and will need to be rehydrated via IV. There can be a number of reasons but just recently once puppy died because of not getting to the vet quick enough with the same symptoms. It's so much better to be safe than to regret it later. Let us know how Toby does.

| ![]() I think it may be doggie stomach flu. Kayah is going through the same thing.. and she has not eaten anything out of the norm. Our vet gave her omoxcicillin (sp?) last time she was sick.. so I just gave her some.. and we'll see if she gets any better ![]() Let us know how your baby's doing

| ![]() My Mayson had the same exact problem just about a week ago, vommitting and diarhea. From a stool sample, I found out that Mayson had giardia (a parasite), which is very common with puppies. You definitely need to take Toby to a vet so that he can get the proper treatment, but most importantly, to find out that it isn't anything serious. Also, while Mayson was sick, I feed him boiled chicken and brown rice only (reccomended by vet). That helped his diarrhea immensely! Hope Toby gets better soon! ![]() |

| ![]() Is she still eating and drinking? Is she very lethargic? If she is any of these, she needs to get to the vet ASAP as these are signs/symptoms of Parvo! If she is eating and drinking and is playing, then treat the upset tummy with either canned pumpkin, pepcid, pepto, chicken & rice, ect.ect. If she continues to throw up, she needs to go to the vet. Good luck and keep us updated! |

| ![]() Toby 2 years old now, and she has been eating and drinking. Just has a bad case of diarrhea today and vomitting. She is up to date with all of her shots, so I dont think it can be Parvo. Thanks guys for the comments. |

| ![]() Is he throwing up white slimy stuff? Because, two of my three furbabies and even one of my puppies had a stomach virus and they vomited and had diarrhea. I gave them boiled chicken and rice and in a day they were feeling better.. Really cared me when the puppy had it, but the vet said she would be fine as long as she didn't dehydrate. ![]()

| ![]() I took Brewsky this morning to the vet as soon as it opened, the same things were going on. He got blood work done and an IV. That seemed to really help. He is on 6 meds and different food but he is only 12 weeks too. Hope your baby gets better

| ![]() Hi, your Toby sounds like all three of my babies. I've been going nuts here with them. It started with Trixie, then Pia got it and now Snoot. I've been talking to alot of people who's dogs are also going through the same thing. It must be some type of virus going around. I've been giving all three of mine pedialyte to help them from getting dehydrated. None of mine wanted to eat anything and trust me I was trying it all. I actually had to force food a few times with a syringe. However, two of mine seem a little better after a few days now but my one is still not herself. I'm watching them like a hawk and thats the best advice I can offer you. Keep giving fluids!! If my little girl isn't better soon then I'm off to the vet again. Yea, forgot to mention I was there and they did nothing. Pretty much told me to continue on with what I'm doing. Good luck to you and I hope Toby feels better soon.
