| Update On Willow's Broken Leg Surgery I just want to thank everyone here at YT for your love and support during this most difficult time as Willow got her leg broke and then had to have surgery to put a plate and screws in and the long six weeks of confinement and recovery. We went to her orthopedic surgeon yesterday and after seeing her beautiful x rays, he gave her the all clear for a much needed grooming visit and she can get out of her little kennel that she has been stuck in for six weeks for limited play. He said that the plate and screws looked great and the two bones are healing nicely. She will be on supervised and limited activity for the next three weeks (sometimes in a baby playpen) and then she can be her normal self after the three weeks are up. OMG . . . it has been a very long six weeks and I am so happy that they say she will have a perfect recovery. The fact that we did everything they said and made her stay in that case is what helped in her healing. Thank you again everyone at YT. Hugs and kisses from me and Willow.

| You & Willow deserve medals for being such troopers through all of this Pegi!! I can't believe you've been able to keep Willow confined, but it has obviously paid off BIG time. I can't wait to see pictures of Willow's brand new hair cut. I bet she is absolutely adorable! Oh wait...she was absolutely adorable before the haircut. CJ & Muffin (Also in need of a haircut!)

| Way to go Willow. It must have been a very hard six weeks caring for her and harder keeping her still without playing. It is wonderful that all your hard work paid off. Your a great mom. Hugs to both of you. Carol & Buddy |

| congradulations! I am happy to hear about a good report on the healing of the leg. What a relief it must be to know everything is going to be good. I would like to ask how you made it through the "kennel time?" Mimi is going for surger on Thursday and I am dreading the confinement peroid. |

| Omg I'm so glad I'm not alone!! My baby paddington got a broken leg too!! Right before christmas!! He had a displaced fracture of the radius and ulna that had to be pinned together. It was horrible keeping him confined and unable to play. He's all better now too and has the clear to be a regular old crazy yorkie. I just hope he will still someday be able to do agility despite this injury. Poor guy! I'm glad your surgery turned out well too! |
