They really do not need to drink much actual water..just so they get it in some form. Canned dog food, yogart, pudding as mentioned, veggies, cottage cheese, make small meat balls of hambuger, cottage cheese and rice..rice has a lot of water in it.....all contain alot of water...some of mine drink very little, but eat large amounts of food while nursing.
As to the tails..do them NOW!!

I hope they are all doing well today... My Trini gave me a little bit of a hard time eating but not drinking, wish I could be more help...
