Poor Ralphie any new news?

I just now saw this, Im sorry hes not doing so good, will keep him in my T&P hes beautiful.

What an adorable baby. Best of luck to him.

Today is the day..
 

It is 630 am here in Mesa AZ, and in a few hours I make the trip to the Animal Referral Hospital --about 1/2 hour. Has been doing better--no loose stools or blood..but I know the problem is hiding inside . He is very unhappy that he has not gotten food this morning, making his little low growls " the I want my food !" noises..

Then he went and took a nap, because Mom would not be giving him anything this morning..

His appt for procedure is at 11:00 am. The weather is cold and rainy, so I will need to keep him warm.

I still suspect IBD or IBS-- maybe colitis.

He is now , the last few days on Venison and Potato by Hills RX diet.. but although that seems good for him, I do not know about the quality.

I have just read about Hills Z/D, which is a hydrolized protein food..very new technology. I will be asking the internist about it.

So strange, he has been on a very good food called Wysong Annergen for 1 1/2 years..he loves it.. very good quality. Its hard to believe he has gotten allergic to it.

Lots of questions.. no real answeres. Many tests done so far..

All your posts bring tears to my eyes..I will let you know what happens today.. I do not know how long he will be there, or the risks of the procedure..
I am scared..

Just seeing this this am. I am praying that the test on Ralphie shows
something that can be delt with so he can get better. Poor baby.
You must be exhusted from worry and lack of sleep.
Hope all goes well today and Ralphie is back to his self shortly.

I just read this thread now. From me and my Ralphie to you and your Ralphie, we are praying for good results and a quick recovery.

I too am now using Hills Prescription U/D after using such great stuff for the past 5 years. However, Wysong made him very sick, sicker than any other food he ever used. I know it's supposed to be excellent but not in our case.
Hills PD has been fine so far. I know how you feel.

Monday had that (and everything else ending in "itis") ... but it all cleared up after she started on the dry food (California Natural reduced calorie Lamb and rice) ... it was the fat in the food she was having trouble digesting ....

I hope everything goes well and they find out what is ailing the little guy!! So sorry he's sick!! Hope he feels better soon - keep us posted and hopefully he'll be back to normal in no time!!
