I don't think the dog threw up blood, she just thought she did. When in actuality, it was a miscarriage.

Ya I meant she miscarraged, not threw up the blood or the fetus.. lol.. (I am blonde, but I know that, that is impossible.. )
The trash already went out this morning, so I won't be able
to take the clump to the vet..
No I never saw what actually happened.. I was sleeping.. My oldest son said that there was throw up on the floor.. So I was still half asleep and I noticed that my hubby was up also..
So I took Micha outside to go do her duty, and then came back upstairs to clean up the mess. Mike cleaned up a lot of it, but I finished it, then came online looking for answers..
Micha's been running around the house playing all morning since I've been up..
she's finally napping her at my feet..
Oh and Micha is only 2 years old...

So no vet? If it was a miscarriage, she might need a "clean out" shot. I'd get her in as soon as you can, for sure!

Don't they some times eat their babies when they are sick or dead??? I seem to remmeber we had a cat that was trying to eat her dead baby when I was a kid...maybe the blood came from that! Ewwww now I need to go barf too!!!!!

I was young and maybe I remeber this wrong???

I don't know about dogs, but my hamsters used to do that Ewww!
