Chuey Back In The Hospital!!

Thank you so much everybody...

I am really feeling it tonight. I can't go to sleep. I feel like I have to watch him 24/7. I don't what I'm going to make-up this week to get out of work! I don't want to get in trouble, but I have to be here.

Michele, you are right. I need to give Dr V a chance. God put him in my path for a reason, I truly believe this.

Chu finally pooped tonight in case anybody wanted to know!! Thanks again for all your prayers. I have to get some rest and stop drinking so much coffee at night (trying to stay awake with him). Better rest or I'm gonna fall asleep at my computer tomorrow.

i really hope chuey pulls through, he's such a fighter and so are you, but remember to take care of yourself too ... chuey needs you to be healthy and strong for him too. Hi YT friends,

I'm posting this update on Chuey for Raquel that is at home very upset.

Early this morning she had to rush him back to the emergency, after giving him his meds & food he barked at Raquel. She picked him up to see what was wrong and she notice him having problems breathing and his tongue was purple .

The vet. took x-rays and Chueys stomach was full of air and his heart is enlarged, they kept him to do an ultra sound of the heart and see if there is a heart murmur. After this they are referring her to a Neurologist, I guess to see why he is not walking. The vet send Raquel home that he would call her.

I spoke with her before they send her home and after and both times I could hear she was shaking along with crying a lot. I met Raquel by phone on x-mas day and in person on Friday when I went with them to Dr. Valentine's office. Chuey is so Small and he looks so fragile I could not believe he is 5 months old and only 1# 8 oz.

This is were she is at still waiting, the vet spoke with her just a little while ago and told her Chuey is resting but the ultra sound people were late so it still has not been done yet.

Raquel is feeling guilty for falling asleep after getting back home from the vets, I told her she needs to get sleep because when he comes back home he is going to be awake and rested wanting her attention.

So could you help pray for both Raquel and Chuey, she is trying so hard to help him get well again but she gets discourage at every setback..

Poor, poor Chuey. I know Raquel's heart is breaking. But she must try to forgive herself, she cannot be blamed for Chuey's condition. He may have something that went to his heart, or he may have lung issues that have put extra strain on his heart. I'm sure the doctors will do what they can to save her baby. My heart breaks for her. I send out prayers for Chuey. Tell her to try to visualize Chuey surrounded in beautiful warm yellow light, protecting and healing him. She can help him get better by thinking of him healed, healthy and happy.

If you want to explain this to her, you might print this out. I have done visualization many times for things that were going wrong in my life. When I was having trouble paying bills, I visualized myself in a beautiful place (my place is out in space in the middle of the stars) under a warm light shining on me, and just like snow flakes, money begins to fall all around me and pile up at my feet while I turn around and around gathering it in my arms, and pockets. Then I don't worry about it anymore, I just let the visualization do it's work. I do this visualization before I go to sleep when I am very relaxed. After I did this the first time, I found a check for $5,000 that I had put away in a file thinking it was a $5.00 check because there were two checks, one for $5.00 and the one underneath for $5,000. I also received money from other surprising and unexpected places.

I did visualization when I injured my sciatic nerve and was in terrible pain for months afterward. In desperation I did visualization of getting better and being able to walk thru beautiful meadows without pain. Shortly afterward, I was led to a doctor who gave me medication that actually worked, and I also was led to buy some herbal things that also helped. I am now back on my feet and able to work 8 hours a day without pain.

Please print this out for Raquel and tell her to try this method. I know it will help her little Chuey. We are praying too.

hello everybody,

Thank you again for all your kind words, advice, and prayers. Chuey and I really need this.

Called dr and no update yet. Chu is resting quietly and ultrasound people should be there later this afternoon. Dr knows I am standing by, trying not to call too much. I am so tired. I can't believe how much this stress drains you. Sheeeesh, and I thought my day job was tough!

Please keep chu in your hearts and visualize him in his warm healthy place. He is trying so hard! I can't give up on him!

I will update as soon as I know anything, thank you so much everybody! Especially you Rosie, God bless you for being my Yorkie Angel!

A final thank you to all of you who have prayed for me and Chuey.

Tonight, the Lord answered our prayers for baby Chuey is with him now.

During the ultrasound the doctors found that Chuey's heart was fine. Because of his small size and young age, they were able to do his scull and try to see what was going on with his brain. Herein, lied the problem.

Chuey's brain was swelling. This is what was causing his rapid decline. The dr said it was only a matter of time before he got really really bad with seizures and such. Drs at the hospital said the neurologist could do a MRI and possibly surgery to SLOW the swelling, but that this would not heal his condition or ever make him walk again. Dr Valentine (hol. vet) said anything here on out would just be academic, and not to the best benefit of Chuey. Quality of life was most important to our family so we made a very hard decision as a family.

We had to let Chuey go and rest. Chuey was pts tonight at approximately 8:30. We got to visit with him, my husband and two boys. And I got to hold him as the Dr put him to sleep. She listened to his heart and told me that it had stopped. She was very gentle and told Chuey his angels were here for him.

I haven't stopped crying since I got the phone call. But I feel peace in my heart because the Lord answered my prayers. Doesn't he always?

So thank you again for all your support and prayers. I am so thankful for you being here for me. I think thats the only reason I had the strength to log in and let you all know that my baby has peace now. Thank you God.
