| Hoku's mom...I was thinking of your this weekend...just out of curosity, did the breeder not take Hoku to the vet prior to your purchase? If so, why did the vet not find the murmur? If they did, why did the breeder still sell to you and have you fall in love with Hoku? I commend you for giving Hoku the fullest life possible....and I understand your attachmetn to Hoku, I'd do the same! and perhaps give her even more attention. |

| The breeder's vet did not hear the murmur so the breeder was shocked when I told her and that is why she wanted me to get a 2nd opinion and then do the echocardiogram. On the specialists' report he commended my vet for catching the murmur because he says this type of murmur is not easy to diagnose. She is doing well though and even getting a little sassy - ha! If I ask her to use the potty pad when she doesn't need to or correct her if she's going after something she shouldn't she will stop and turn her head and grumble at me. It's so hilarious, it's like she's talking back! She doesn't do it to anyone else, just me. I should've known though since I'm the same way - LOL!
