| You keep calling as much as you need to. One thing a vet's office knows is the love and concern a parent has for their fur, feather, scale or whatever babies. They know how scared you are and how impossible it is to just go on with your day without worrying. Since you can't be there with her, the only way you have to keep up with how she is doing is by phone. Still more prayers coming your way along with (((hugs))). And I know your Dad is watching over Ella. That's what Angel's do.

| I am so thankful to hear that little Ella is fighting. I am also glad to hear that you and your boyfriend are supporting each other through this ... it's so much easier when you face things together. I prayed that not only Ella make it but that you two help each other .... so, my prayer was answered!! Rest assured that I will continue to pray for Ella's miracle and that she will recover completely. I'm sure that your vet is doing what he feels is best for her but I love our vet's philosophy ... he always tells me that the best medicine for Toto is Mom's arms! God bless and comfort you all.Tammy ... I think of you every single day and the tragic accident that took little Magnum! God bless you for sharing your story.

| I've been thinking so much about her, and you. I'm glad she's still hanging in there....like you say, that has to mean something. Now we all need to pray: "Dear God---please let little Ella grow stronger, and keep the pneumonia at bay. Let her know there is so much love waiting for her, and worth fighting for!"

| smiles, Just came across this thread and I am so very sorry that this happened to you at a time like this. My thoughts will be with little ella in hopes that she remains strong and pulls through this tragic accident. There is nothing I can say that will make me understand but I do know the love you feel for Ella and I know how horrible it feels to know that she is in pain and the verge of living and I know that every part of you wishes it was you and not her but PLEASE stay strong for her!! She needs you right now. I would really push the vet to allow you to visit her. Please keep us updated.

| ssmiles1980A - I know how hard this is for you. I have lost 2 yorkies over the many, many years of being with yorkies and both times it was due to my hubby w/accidents. One time one of our pups got loose after being gone to shop. We use to lock her up in the kitchen for safety. We had taken two cars and my hubby got home just a minute before me and when he opened the door - the pup was at the door and ran out straight into the road. The car ahead of me hit our pup. I saw the whole thing it was so sad and I still remember it. But it could have been myself that opened the door. Things happen so fast and we do not know why - they just do. I though understand you and wanting to be there with your pup. I myself would go. The vet can say no - but you can say yes. I know of cases where the one that was hurt actually heals faster with human touch - and knowing that you are there. You do what is best for you. But don't feel like you can't go becasue the vet said it might not be best. You do what you feel would be best for you. He or she will understand and let you stay, if you want to. I was not there to say good bye to my last one that passed and I still get upset to this day that I wasn't there for her. I listened to my vet and he thought it was best for me not to be there since she was trying so hard to hold on and she was in real bad shape. I think he was trying to protect me. But I know now - I should have told him - No, I want to stay with her. So do what feel best for you!!! I hope she gets better soon!!! T. |

| Well we went to go see her, my poor little baby girl, she can barley breathe and it just breaks my heart, they let me touch her , so i touched her face and told her how much we love her, my boyfriend was crying he was afraid to touch her but i told him he had to touch her, she needed that, and it just broke his heart ... she looked up at us, she is in so much pain, the DR said she is really the same ......its a waiting game .. GOD i hate to hear that over and over again . she is being Transferred tomorrow which scares me soooo badly, because this animal hospital closes at 8 am we need to pick her up and take her to another animal hospital with 24 hour care and the right equipment for her, so the DR said he will find the best place for her if she makes it through another night .... God willing ... im worried about the transferring because if she cant breathe without the oxygen then she will be in the car until the drive to the new place ... I just dont know this whole thing is so scary,i can not thank you all enough for all your thoughts and prayers so far its keeping baby ella alive so far , you all have been so supportive and it means so much to us from the VERY bottom of our hearts, PLEASE PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR LITTLE ELLA, SHE REALLY NEEDS IT ........
