Just came across this thread and I am so very sorry that this happened to you at a time like this. My thoughts will be with little ella in hopes that she remains strong and pulls through this tragic accident.

There is nothing I can say that will make me understand but I do know the love you feel for Ella and I know how horrible it feels to know that she is in pain and the verge of living and I know that every part of you wishes it was you and not her but PLEASE stay strong for her!! She needs you right now.

I would really push the vet to allow you to visit her.

Please keep us updated.
