| Yes, my little boy has been battling this for over 2 years. We now have him on a low residue diet that seems to be working. He was never given anything but his dog food and we believe his started from peanut butter flavored treats. His little digestive system couldn't handle it. If you know your dog has problems with this disease, you just have to really monitor their diet until you find the right food for them. It is definitely treatable, but just takes time. Hope this helps!
