Ive only been a yorkie mum for 24 hours....now this our poor little 'Lola'! I was wondering if she may have had one due to stress of coming into a new home? she also seems to have alot of phlem........has anyone been through this with there new puppy????? |

| Oh no! Your poor baby! My first thought is hypoglycemia...low blood sugar which puppies are very susceptible to. Do you have nutrical or karo syrup? I would suggest to give her some of that...if you don't have any of that, give her some sugar water. Best wishes to you and your baby. It's very late here and lots of YT'ers are in bed, as I should be. I'll say a prayer for your baby!

| SCARY! Sounds like hypoglycemia to me too I hope that the vet will give you medicine for that congestion as well.

| Lola's results hi there, Lola's blood test was clear! The vet said it could be low blood sugars and told us how to boost it! Everything was going well all day yesterday, then in the early hours of this morning she had another seizure...and was running around in circles yelping! The vet has said it looks to be neurlogical! Today Lola is running and jumping around as normal, she seems fine.....i guess only time will tell! Thank you all for your kind words...i will keep you posted. |
