| He'll be better in no time at all. Roundworms is the most common parasite there is and you're not to blame. It is very possible that he actually got them from his Mom and they have just been lying dormant in the intestinal wall, but all it takes is a brief contact with an infected dog's feces. Many adults don't even have diarrhea so the owners don't even know they're infected. Get some sleep. |

| You don't usually see them, but since you had already seen a whole one I assumed your dog had a pretty bad case and you would so I didn't want you to freak out. Maybe there are just a couple and they are decomposing before coming out. Either way, you see them or you don't, it's fine. Just repeat the dose like your vet instructed, discard all feces promptly and all will be well shortly. |

| Update:Called vet this morning. Siu Pao is not throwing up anymore. If he is, we will go to the vet today. There are still flecks in his poop this morning but not so much anymore. Now they look like sesame seeds, many white in colour and some in black. His poop is still mucus like but vet say it will take some time before it hardens. Vet advice me to mix some of his dry dog food with his rice and chicken as he is not supposed to go on rice and chicken for more than 2-3 days.

| I also cooked my baby chicken either with brown rice or vegetables. I took Achilles to the vet on because he stool was soft and watery and also had mucus on it. He gave me two medicines one to clean his intestines and the other one to control the diarrea. The vet told me that maybe it was something that he ate beside his regular food. Now he is back to normal. Merry Christmas |

Hello There Yorkie Friend!! My maxwell has had poo issues since I purchased him. There is mucus in the poo and 98% of the time it is green and watery and the smell is a strong smell, sometimes like a clorox smell or a detergent smell. (NO he didnt eat anything liek that ) Its just a weird smell. This is how I know he has an infection. The first time I took a poo smple to the vet and they came back with infection. 2 Medications were prescribed and I gave him chicken w/rice. After 2 weeks the dam infection came back, well you have to give the antibiotic long enough to kill the stubborn infection, and would you knwo it the vet told me that dogs cannot take the same antibiotic too much because than it doesnt work anymore for them, so it is very important to utilize the entire medication and for a period of time. Well back on the med's again and on Prescriptions ID can food, Maxwell got better, WOW at last solid POO, I couldnt beklieve I was so excited about his poo. Well would you know it it came back last night, we are on 3 hours of sleep. The vet gave me some back up med's to have at home, so he has been taking 1/2 tab last night, 1/2 tab today and still on the prescription ID food and DD can food. I tried introducing the Solid Gold dry food, but it just cause pudding poo again. It appears my Maxwell may be food sensitive among other issue's. He has a ear tumor removed last month, which left him with a portion of his ear removed by laser, his tear duct is not connected to his nose, so for life we have to care for that eye to avoid infections, and he had 4 baby teeth pulled, and still we are trying to solve the POO issue. So Hang in there. Im starting to think the smaller the fog, the more issue's. ???? Anyone have any idea's why a puppy constanly has pudding poo?
