I know this is an old thread, but I would not scold the dog. It could ruin a stud, which she said it was. I would take away the object. Alot of times, hairs stop the penis from going back in fully also (not all the way from the bulbus glandis usually). For this, I use antibiotic sauve and gently remove hairs. |
Omg you guys, that picture scared the crap out of me! I had NO idea they looked like that. Holy crap. |
Om My God! I have never seen anything like that either! Mmmmm makes me wonder if I want to come back in another like as a Female Dog! LOL.. Kidding!!!:p :yeahthat: :ladywinks |
OMG!!!!!! That thing is bigger than my dog!!!! Poor Delilah took one look and ran screaming NO NO NO NO!! Seriously, where do they put all that? |
lol oh man!! i'm glad to hear he is fine afterwards but oh man...lol i don't know what to say. i'm glad i have a little girl! that thing is HUGE!! :yelrotflm |
The fact that he had an erection is pretty normal, but it's not normal for his penis not to return to the sheath for "hours". Did your vet give you any ideas as to why this would happen and how to prevent it from happening again? One suggestion I would make is that you keep the hair clipped short in front of his penis and in his entire groin area. This not only helps keep him clean and tidy, but helps prevent his penis from becoming entangled in his hair. |
Please forgive a newbie, I didn't realize that this was such an old thread... and I'd also missed several replies. Sorry. |
How old is your baby??that was pretty impressive. you must be proud of your boy;) . seriouslt tho if i saw mickey like that i would have had a heart attack. his little man is all cute but maybe he is just a bit young yet,he is 7mths. should i be prepared for him to grow a monster too;) |
My Cody James His lipstick is big like that too.. He humps his pillow. he gets it back in but not quite all the way so i try to help him out i throw sugar on it. one day he got stuck and it was big like that in the picture i freaked out. and he wouldn't get it back in. so i threw sugar on it and he wouldn't do anything. so omg are ya'll ready for this. i had to touch it and get it back in. i think i was more emabarassed than he was LOL  I don't like when he humps. because he doesn't get it all the way back in. a little tip of it will still be out. |

OMG I have a boy....I hope I never see that from him. ever. |
Maxwell will try to hump any toy that's bigger than he is! After I saw the photo in the first post, I've been getting rid of anything he wants to hump. A toy lion, and a big teddy bear -- out the door they went. yukko. |
I have to join in and say YIKES!!!!   I have a boy and he used to hump bigger toys...I took all away and told him NO! I had no idea that thing was so big! I only ever saw the tip i guess... and only for a second here and there. The poor little CHILD! I hope it doesn't happen again! And may I add... I truely feel sorry for the little girls he has his way with! |
Ok I just found this post and all I can say is OMG........I am NOT looking forward to this for Peanut.....whoa, that would totally freak me out!!!!!! Glad he is all better though........ |
I read this yesterday and then told my husband and brother and neither of them belived me so I showed them. They were freaking out. I am so scared that will happen to Carlos. |
This happened to Taylor last week. I was in SHOCK! It wasn't going away and we were going to try a bath first, then head to the vet. It finally started going away but he needed a litttle KY to help. I made my poor hubby do it!!! :D All it fine now but we put away all of those little soft beds that he considers "Girlfriends". :) |
Dang... As other's have said - I know this is an old thread, but I'm glad it's here. I just adopted a baby boy yorkie which I named Bentley. In case that ever happens to my pup at least I will have a few ideas as to how to fix that sad situation. Lubricant, bath, suger. :P THX And I am so glad your baby is ok now... HUGS Brittany and Bentley:aimeeyork |
Oh my, I've only recently gotten over the nightmares this thread gave me the first time I saw it. Maxwell is not allowed any stuffed toys bigger than he is because I'm afraid while he's humping, that will happen to him! ewwww....:p |
Yup - it can actually be pretty scary. My Marcel is small (3.4 lbs) but is packing HEAT - so when his heat gets stuck in the out position, it's tough to get it back in there. And I feel so terrible. We spritz w/ water, then we take a q-tip and coat it w/ vaseline and run the q-tip gently around the opening - sort of btwn where the penis should go back in and the penis itself (so the area becomes super slippery). We often have to re-coat the q-tip several times and run it around the area and sort of coax the skin around the tip. I just hate it, not bc it grosses me out - but bc I'm sure it hurts my little guy, it's a very sensitive area and has so many nerves. I can't bring myself to sprinkle sugar on the area for some reason - I'm nervous about the sugar being pulled back into his body and I'm worried about it stinging - but I have heard the sugar works. Can anyone expand on this? |
before my 8 lb yorkie got neutered his lipstick was long enough to hit his chin, atleast 7+ inches... your telling me that's not normal??? |

ohhhh wonder if his nickname is yorkie gorilla :D |
Good god. I know this thread is old but man oh man that picture!! When Paris was in heat louis'got stuck out a few times (when he wasn't allowed to Mate with her) and he would stand in one position with it thrusting back and forth like it had a mind of it's own! He looked horrified like "why is this happening mom?" it finally went back in. But sheesh that little dude's is HUGE! I don't think I would have been brave enough to post the picture of it! Funny to read the responses even though the thread is so old... |

BTW: Welcome Back! :) |
OMG, I'm sitting in my living room, laughing my a** off and my 85 yr old mother, who lives with me, wants to know what is so funny. So I explain, read some of the hysterically funny posts and show her the picture. :):):) This thread is a classic, thanks for resurrecting it. It's both informative and incredibly funny! |
Oh my goodness, I am so glad that my two boys appear to be NOT-well endowed. Their packages are compact, and I have only seen Maximo's little rocket once. I wasn't planning on having boys and when I was looking for pictures of puppy-cuts, I was horrified when I saw a Yorkie with a huge package hanging under his belly. Thank goodness Max listened to me and kept his small and cute. :p;) |
