| ? regaurding stitches taken out Rocky has to get his stitches out 2weeks from the day he was nuetered. Problem is, the 2week day I have no time to take him because I have a small job to go to in the morning (the temp agency found me a 3day job). I'm going to work from like 9-12, then at 3 I'm leaving to go to Wisconsin Dells. The vets office is closed from 12-3 though. Does anyone know if it's OK to take him in the day before? My mom's going to be watching him for me while I'm gone, but before I ask her to take him I'd rather have my bf take him the evening before if it's OK. Also, when they take stitches out of these little guys how do they get them to hold still? And does it hurt them? When I worked in a doctors office I would take out stitches and staples of people and you gotta hold still, and sometimes the people would be in pain. I'm just curious as to how it usually goes for dogs, I never went with my other dogs to get stitches out.

I'm a germaphobe though, yeah even though the equipment isn't making an incision, I still want it sterile. It's free for them to do it anyways, might as well take advantage of that, LOL.
