Shylah got spade yesterday. She has been kind of out of it today. She groans or squeaks once in a while. I have her on some pain drops. She also had 4 teeth pulled and a microchip put in. When she doesn't feel well all the hair around her face lays so flat and she doesn't look very good. Tonight, it looks as if it is getting more fluffy, so she must be feeling better. I can't wait until she is 100% and I can give her a bath. I hate getting them spade, I just can't imagine the pain they are in and are they like women and get hot flashes and have all the hormone problems? Poor baby.

What kind of pain drops did she get? I picked up Hailey today from her surgery (she was spade and had a hernia repair) and they told me they didn't normally give pain meds. Then they told me if she hurt too bad to give her an asprin. I know in the hospital we would never give someone asprin after a surgery because of the risk of bleeding! I know she dosen't need to feel 100% right now so she doesn't hurt herself but I can't stand the thought of her being in extreme pain!
