| my little polo die today octuber 23, 2006. Hello everyone, Today, mi little yorkie die from parvo in my house after 6 days at the hospital. I took him home because the vets couldn't do anything else for him. He spent those days with IV, anti-inflamatory, antibiotics and everthing else they could give him to keep him alive. Yesterday, they took off the IV because his veins collapsed, so they were giving him subcutaneous hydration. I told them to give me all his medication and love. I took him home at 3:00pm. At home, he was walking and he was so happy to be back, he walked for a while although he couldn't do it straight....he used to look through the window and that was the first thing he did. After that, he tried to vomit and then he went to his bed and he never wake up again (5:25pm), he left in peace. I really did everything in my hands to save him, however, this is a very dangerous virus. PLEASE!!!!! do not take your little dogs outside before they are 6 months old not matter how healthy they look (even if they had some vaccines before), some dogs can have this virus and these babies are the ones that will suffer.......and we with them. |

| I had a foster dog ShihTzu that had parvo and lived through it. He was such a happy lil guy. He was only parnoid of certain noises like storms but was fine otherwise. He was such a loveable dog. I hope your little one will be fine in a day or two. *hugs*

| I am so terribly sorry for your loss. We had a large "Golden" that survived it but it was hard even though he was a year old. I can't even imagine how hard it would be for a little one as young as yours! You certainly did everything that you could for him .... God bless you for trying so hard.

| I am so sorry for the loss of your little one. You gave him all the care and love you could. I am sure he was grateful, especially to come home look out on the view he loved and be there with you as he passed. I hope when you feel the time is right you will find another one to love.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I'm so sorry! I know parvo is a very dangerous virus and some may survive others may not. This must be difficult for you and there are not many things we can say to make you feel better. You did all you could and Polo knows that. May God comfort you in this time. |

| I too am so very sorry for your loss. I didn't have any idea that they were so sensitive to this virus even after the vaccine. I appreciate you sharing your story to allow others to be cautious. Polo isn't suffering any longer and you gave him good memories as he left. I hope knowing this comforts you some. He will always have a special spot in your heart. God Bless you.
