| my baby hurt his leg?need help he fell off our couch, but our couch is only around 7 inches or so off the ground. he cried for about 2 seconds, and then he started limping.....we started massaging his hurt leg, as we did he didnt cry or wince(so i am assuming he didnt break anything). now he is walking again(but a little gingerly). anyone have any advice??? i really dont see the need to bring him to the vet, i mean. he is not in pain and both his legs look and feel the same, any opinions would be appreciated! |

| So sorry about your baby's leg...they definitely can hurt their little legs when they jump down, even if it's not that high. Just keep an eye on him, and if he continues to limp, of course, bring him to get checked.

| Same thing happened to Pepper a few weeks ago... He climbed on the lowest step and was standing on it and trying to climb on the second one... next thing I know he's down and crying. Picked him up, he was limping but stopped whimpering and I checked his leg, massaged the paw and put ice on it. Couldn't feel anything broken but he kept limping couple hours later and I ran to the vet. Unnecessarily, but I was a lil overacting then...Amazing how fragile those guys are, I'd check on your girl but I think she's alright.

| I suggest keeping a very close eye on your baby's leg. Unfortunately my Babybear jumped off our couch which is very low to the ground and he broke his leg on his growth plate. It was a very small break, but I am glad I got it checked because he could have had problems. I hope your little one is doing better though. Keep us updated please. Val |
