Oh God, please help me... my Madda is just getting worse...
 
I had to take her back to the vet this morning and leave her there, they don't know what is wrong with her, they think it might be parvo. She has her parvo shot and everything but they said it does not last that long...Oh goodness they say her g.i tract has a infection but they cannot figure out what is wrong, they did 2 fecal samples and nothing...she is bleeding through her rectum really bad and has not eaten since Sunday, Oh my god.... I feel like dying right now ...I don't know what else to do to help her! I need everyone's prayers right now to help her through this...they have her in a IV and giving her anitbiotic shots but they don't think she will make it. Do these symtoms sound familiar to anyone? She is moaning in pain and it tears me up to see her like that, I wish it was me..... she is a poor baby she's only 10 months old... Oh god...... please pray for my baby....:( :(

So sorry.........nothing worse than seeing your baby in pain. Hang in there and keep thinking good thoughts.

OMG I'm so sorry. :( I will be praying for Madda all day. Please hold on little angel. Your mommy loves you so much - so please keep fighting. PLEASE keep us updated on little Madda's condition.

she has parvo... she tested positive. I am so scared now that she will die... Oh god help me.. I'm so scared?

thank you everyone... I am so scared...I cannot stop crying here at work.... Oh god.. All I keep thinking is please don't let Gizmo get sick with this too, I need to take him in for a shot and to get tested.. better safe than sorry.

Madda. Poor baby. It is an awful feeling to feel so helpless but she
is getting the best care from the doctors. Keep thinking positive.

Cindy, I can't believe this.:( I am just torn up about it. I was thinking about poor little Madda all night last night, and now to logon and hear this...I'm just sick. If I'm feeling like this, I just can't imagine what you're having to go through right now. Any earthly idea how she got it?! I know they get it from other dogs, but has Madda been around any other dogs? Please continue to keep us updated. Is there any way you can go up to the vet to be with Madda while they are treating her? I wonder if it would make her feel better to have you there? Please get Gizmo treated. I'll be praying for you and Madda and Gizmo today. :big_hug:

Oh nooooooo ! Poor baby !!!!! OMG I'm so so sorry and will pray really hard for her. Bless your heart you must be so sick with worry....Please try to think positive and we'll all be hoping this can be overcome.....When you said they don't think she'll make it - are they going to do all they can for her ???? Parvo CAN be treated but I'm unsure of the sucess rate....oh man - I feel so bad for you.

Cindy, I have been really worried about Madda, so I looked up Parvo on the Internet just to see what she is dealing with. It says that 80% of puppies treated for Parvo will live. It also has a lot of other good info on how to prevent it from spreading to Gizmo. It wouldn't let me copy and paste, so here is the link:

Cindy...as upset as you are - you MUST treat your home for Gizmo - I know your mind is on Madda - but when you get ready....here's a good site with info on treating the house. http://www.dogpro.org/index.php?pageID=49- and ask your vet about ParvoGuard -

:thumbup: :thumbup: I completely agree with Villette!!!!!!! The last thing you want is for Gizmo to get sick, too. The link I posted earlier also has good steps to treating your house, ect.

thank you.. I am just so mixed with emotions right now.. I cannot believe the other vet did not catch this! I am so pissed at them for this , yesterday she was not bleeding, it just got worse.. y did they not test for this! I am supposed to call at 10 am to check up I am counting down these 20 minutes like you would not believe.I just pray Gizmo is not infected with this too! May god bless all of you for your prayers Madda really needs them more than anything in this world.. thank all of you a thousand times over.... I don\'t know what I would do without any of you! Thank you !!

Thanks girl - We\'re on the same page & that was a good link...I can\'t believe this at all ....poor baby. I keep going between tearing up and chills. This should not have happened to that angel....Cindy did everything right and this is such a surprise.:(

and Cindy - I would contact that other vet asap - First to give them a piece of your mind....they should have caught this !!! and 2nd....They need to know so they can take precautions at their facility to protect the pets coming thru their doors -

If there\'s ANYTHING we can do - just say the word ok ?

they said that she had a small chance of making it, when I took her in she was moaning in pain, it broke my heart in 2 pieces seeing her like that! I just wish the other doctor would have tested her for this! they must of assumed since she hadthe shots as a pup now at 10 months she should be ok, which is not the case....18 minutes til I call....Oh lord I hope for some good news...something anything....
