Prayers and with you and Madda.

Take a look at this article, it may be Campy rather than parvo and needs different treatment. I did save an entire litter (but one) from Parvo by just force feeding Pedialyte every hour around the clock. With parvo they usually will not eat or drink anything, but with Campy they still eat and drink, sometimes even have a ravenous appetite.

I have just read this about Madda, am so so sorry Cindy, prayers that she is doing much, much better now.
I was told in our area that Parvo is rampant so we have not been taking Baby Blessing out at all, also people need to realize that they can carry this into their home on their shoes, another good reason to take shoes off before going into ones home. We have always done this at our home and when we go into anyones home. We are praying for Madda to make a full recovery real soon. Thankful to hear the good news on the last call from the vet, we will be sure to watch for future updates on Madda.

Cindy,my heart goes out to you and I pray for madda.Please try and be with her as much as you can.I had a little silky 5lb years ago that had an accident at 1 years old she was outside with a few kids and got hit by a cricket bat.To cut a long story shot she was rushed to the vet had a cracked skull the vet said he sees about 6 cases a year and she was the worst he had seen and didnt expect her to live.She got through the night and every day just got a bit better but she wouldn't eat but when I went in and saw her she saw me and tried to get up.They really respond to their owners and she survived another 10 yrs.I cant stress how important it is to be near them when you can.Ill say prayers for madda.

We're still praying like crazy. Sounds like Madda continues to fight - bless her little heart!!

The post about the Campy Krud sounds worth investigating also - especially to prevent Gizmo from getting anything. I hope she improves soooo much that you are able to take her home by Friday night. Hopefully your vet office is open on Saturdays just in case she needs to be there till then - but no way would I leave her through Sunday when there would just be someone "checking in" on her. Go see her tomorrow, take her favorite toy with you and bleach down everything in the meantime!!!!

Keep fighting Madda - we're there with you!

YES !!!!! That's outstanding and with all the prayers she's getting - she HAS to get better ....we've done it before here and we can do it again.

HUGS to you Cindy - that must have been some relief for you to hear and I hope this means she's no longer in pain. YAY Madda !!! You can do it girl !

Oh that is really good news. Hopefully by tomorrow she will show signs that she is even better. I am keeping Madda in my thoughts and prayers. Come on Madda you can do it! Keep getting stronger!

Oh wow! This DOES sound promising! I've been thinking of her...and you all day today and I will keep praying for Madda to have the strength to fight this and get well. Little sweetheart. I just read this thread. I am so sad for you. I can only imagine your grief. I hope she continues to improve. I have never heard of those symptoms before.

May the Lord give you the faith and strenght to deal with what ever comes.
