| Update On Gucci --I am sorry if I sent two posts------------------------------------------------------------------------------ First of all I want to thank you all so much for the love and prayers that are felt on this board.. It is very touching. I got a call from the hospital and we are looking at a possible liver shunt. She is doing fine at the moment, My daughter and I went to see her and we were told that she is eating and her spirits are well. They are going to keep her overnight again for she needs to fast and they feel its best they monitor her. They will be taking an extensive blood work to see all the proteins levels etc. This is so confusing to me and all I do is cry. They said they will have the results in two three days and she may need surguery. I am taking one step at a time, its just baffling because she is two years old and this was not detected at an earlier age. Along with all this emotion and expenses I just pray that the outcome is good and that she will be able to live a long healthy life. Please keep the prayers coming and if anyone has gone through this please PM me, I appreciate it..At the moment I feel like I am in a cloud ... Gina |

| Gina, I am so sorry your baby has to go through this. I know there are YT'ers who have expierenced this with their own and I am sure they will help and guide you through this difficult time. I will continue to pray for both of you. Good luck. Carol |

| Thanks for the update Gina. So sorry to hear the vet thinks liver shunt. There are many YTers experienced with that - hopefully they will give you great advice.

| Praying that Gucci doesn't really have anything bad and that she'll be home with you in no time and healthy as can be!

| I hope all goes well with Gucci. Last year, the whole month of Aug. was spent with Lexi in the hospital. University of Iowa finally diagnosed her with Idiopathic Epilipsy and put her on a very low dose of Phenobarbitol. It was a nightmare and $7,000.00 later. She is alive and doing very very well. Good luck. Connie |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Gina...I'm sorry they think it's liver shunt - I've said prayers for Gucci and will be thinking positive thoughts for you. Please keep us updated and good luck - maybe the vets could be wrong...it's been known to happen. |
