| Update on Baxter Just wanted to let you all know that Baxter has greatly improved! He is still not all the way well, but doing so much better. He is eating, although I have to hand feed him to get him to eat most of the time. He had one runny bowel movement with some solids mixed in this morning but none since. WhoHoo! I think the Albon is starting to work. That Coccidia is some mean stuff for puppies. Thank goodness I was home and saw how bad he was. If we would have left the house that day, I think he would have been gone by the time we got back. I just want to encourage anyone with a new puppy to please, please call a vet if they start to exhibit signs of lethargy, disorientation, or diahharhea. (did I spell that right?) Baxter is showing signs of energy and is becoming playful again. Thank you all for your concern. Pat |

| I'm so glad to hear Baxter is on the mend. It is very frightening when your baby is sick. An unnessary trip to the vet is always better than the alternative!! When Sissy got real sick with Giardia, she stopped eating her dry kibble at all. I've tried many different brands and the only other food she will eat is the Natural Balance meat rolls. Try some yogurt and cottage cheese, these are good for his tummy, too. Hope he'll be all better real soon.
