| My pup Roxy just got diagnosed with ringworm. (3 weeks ago) They gave me a litttle bottle of clear liquid to put on it 3 times a day as well as a shampoo that is for antifungal. I am suspose to bathe her in that 1 time a week. Now the red ring is gone... it is more brown and crusty all over. I go back to the vet Monday to get her last shots and have this rechecked. If the vet didnt perscribe you a shampoo you can use anyone of the "antifungals" they sell in the store. Lather it up and let it sit a couple of minutes. As far as everyone esle getting it.....make sure you wash your hands really good after dealing with the ringworm. Hope this helps

This is a great idea and our pharmacist is used to me asking doggie and horsie med questions..... I found one of the "name brand" of anti-fungal ointment at the everything is $1 store. It sure beat paying $5 to %6 a tube. To soothe iritated skin, a shampoo with Tea Tree Oil and Emu Oil is the greatest. | |
