Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | if there is a big blood vessel leading to the middle of the eye, it means that your dog scratched or irritated his cornea somehow and the blood is rushing to the site to help it heal. Is there any discharge coming out of the eye? yellow or green? Is the third eyelid more pronouned then usual? If he fussing with the eye at all? keeping it closed? squinting? |

| One of my best friend's husband is an opthalmologist (an eye specialist/surgeon). She woke up one morning and one of her eyes was completely red (all of the white part). Her husband wasn't too upset about it - and had her just wait until it went away on its own....which it "finally" did. (She had experienced a broken blood vessel or some such thing...) Carol Jean |
