| I need some advice... Hi all...as you may know, my baby Bentley is in the hospital with pulmonary adema. The hospital is 2 hours away and I want to go visit him since he'll be in there through the weekend. But, i'm not sure if it's a good idea. He'll get all excited, then I'll have to leave him again....but on the other hand, i don't want him to think that we've abandoned him and give up. I don't know what I should do....Please give me your advice....what would u do? |

| Go Go Go! I would absolutely GO! Go see him and while yeah, he might get excited, you can help him out by being a little more calm than usual yourself. Otherwise, I'm sure it'll lift his sunken spirits and do him a world of good! Good luck little one! We hope to read about you soon! |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | What does the doc think? I would go unless the vet didn't think it was a good idea.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | When Cali was in fo 36 hous I didn't go see her because I didn't want her to get all excited and then leave her again but maybe that was wrong but she did fine. The vet techs carried her everywhere.

| I went see him today...he's not doing well. Hi...I went see Bentley first thing this morning. He did not look good at all. He was just laying there struggling to breath. He didn't even get excited when he saw us. He just looked at me with those sad eyes. I have to keep reminding myself that he's only been there 48 hours even tho it seems like days and days. The vet said sometimes it gets worse before it gets better. I am praying that it'll start getting better. I couldn't even hold him....they said he couldn't be taken out of the oxygen chamber. Please pray for him. He needs our help so that his little body can recover. Thanks, Hugs, Jill |

| My Maxx was in the hospital for 2 days after he got a calcium stone removed. I had to work those 2 days but my husband went up there everyday for and hour and held him. It killed me that I couldn't go see him but their hours were the same as mine. If ever any of our yorkies are in the hospital we will always make it a priority to go see them in everyday. I firmly believe it makes a difference. I wouldn't want to be in the hospital and not have my family come see me. I say go! |
