| Does your baby have hair long enough to swallow? Jazzie does that when she gets her hair down her throat. Some times its only a few strands and its hard to tell. I hope that's all it is.

| Yes, my Lucky has long hair. But he has never done this gagging before and I am scared that maybe he has something stuck. He is hiding from me right now and I can't even pet him or let him know mommy is here for him. ;( |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Will he drink some water or eat a small piece of treat to see if does have something stuck? I would sit down and see if he will come to you, he knows you are upset and thinks he is doing something wrong. Also try gentley rubbing his neck. Did you pout water over his head? I'm just trying to think of possible explanations. Let us know how he is doing.

| I already showed his favorite treats and rang the doorbell and he won't budge from underneath the bed. If it is hair stuck will he vomit it out? What can I do? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Is he still making the noise? If he is you have to get him out from under the bed so you can get a better look at his mouth. Is there anyone around to help you get him out. try going out the front door and ringing the bell again see if he will come out. That usually always works with my dogs. If he is still gagging I would get him to a ER vet.

| My mom and I got him out from under the bed and placed some drops of water in his mouth. He is gagging and then stops and gags and stops. If it continues for the next 30 min. we will bring him to the vet. |

| Have you checked to see if he swallowed a strand of hair? If you can open his mouth, check the corners the strands Jazzie swallows are still attached to her face. You can pull it out if it's there.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Defintely check his corners of his mouth. my Gracie had real long hair and one time kept swallowing real hard for awhile and when I took her in she had this wad of hair down her throat that was attached to the side of her mouth. If that's clear I have given my dogs a little piece of bread when I think they might have something stuck in their throa, it helps get it down. If not Iwould get him to the vet. Please keep us posted when you can and good luck

| There is no hair stuck... But right now he seems fine. Thanks for all the help. I tried googling some information about his gagging and I couldn't find anything. Hearing from other yorkie owners really helped. Oh, and yes I am from Jersey. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Oh good. Maybe he had some water that he swallowed during his bath. I hope he is better now.
